Another Blog from an Aspiring Pro

For the longest time I was against the idea of my own blog thinking, “Who really cares about what I have to say?”  But after following the blogs of people like my teammate and professional cyclist Stephen Hyde, or my strength trainer and Ironman athlete Sarah Kelly, I came to the realization that I am part of an audience that does care about what other people in my sport have to say. 

If value and motivation can be found from what other athletes are writing, maybe I can add to the conversation.  It is this that inspired me to start my own public forum and, if anything, I now believe that blogs like these can open up a dialogue and build a greater sense of cycling community. 

Having only been racing for a relatively short period of time, I don’t want to pretend to be an expert- so this blog comes with the disclaimer that the things posted are my opinions, philosophies, and solo ramblings.
